This is a brief, plain-English summary of how QuoteReadySites handles personal data. We collect the minimum needed to do what you asked us to do — nothing more.
What we collect
When you fill out the quote request form on the homepage, we receive whatever you typed in: your business name, your name, phone number, optional email, trade, package interest, and any notes. The form opens WhatsApp on your device with that information pre-filled — nothing is stored on our server.
If you contact us directly via WhatsApp or email, we keep the message thread for as long as is reasonably needed to respond and complete the work.
Analytics
We don't run third-party analytics on this site at the moment. If that changes (Google Analytics 4 or Plausible), we'll list it here and add a cookie banner before any tracker fires.
Sharing your data
We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only exception is when required by law (e.g. a valid HMRC or court request).
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that don't lead to a project are kept for up to 12 months in case you come back. Project records (invoices, contracts, deliverables) are kept for the legal minimum required by HMRC — typically 6 years.
Your rights under UK GDPR
- Ask what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Ask us to restrict how we use it.
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).
