Plain-English terms for QuoteReadySites. By engaging us to build a website, you agree to the points below. If anything is unclear, ask before signing — we'd rather have the awkward conversation up front.
What we deliver
A website built to the specification of the package you choose (Quick Quote, Full Quote, or QuoteReady Pro), hosted on infrastructure we provision, accessed via the domain you choose. The exact line items in each package are listed on our pricing page at the time of purchase.
Payment
50% of the setup fee is due upfront to start the build. The remaining 50% is due before we point your domain at the live site. The monthly care plan begins on the day the site goes live and is billed monthly thereafter.
Revisions
Each package includes a stated number of revision rounds before launch. A revision means changes to existing content or layout — adding entirely new sections or pages is treated as scope expansion and quoted separately.
Ownership
You own the domain (registered in your name from day one). You own the rights to the content you provide. We retain ownership of any reusable code/templates we developed independently of your project. On full payment, you have a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the website we built.
Cancellation
You can cancel the monthly care plan at any time, no notice period. On cancellation we'll either:
- Hand the site files and domain to your own hosting provider, or
- Keep it live on a yearly hosting plan billed up front.
Refunds for partial months are pro-rated.
What we won't do
- Build or host content that's illegal under UK law.
- Misrepresent your business (fake reviews, invented credentials, etc.).
- Continue work if invoices are unpaid for more than 30 days.
Liability
We do our best to keep your site fast, online, and secure — but we're not liable for indirect losses (lost income, missed leads) caused by downtime, third-party outages, or hostile actors. Our maximum direct liability for any single claim is capped at the total fees you've paid us in the previous 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes go through the English courts, which is also where we live.
